Operating in the education sector is a challenging space, with school budgets under constant pressure. Our long term goal as a social enterprise is to develop a pricing structure that is accessible for schools and covers the majority of our costs. At this stage, while Zero Carbon Schools is being trialled we are largely reliant on donations to roll out the programme to as many schools as possible, collect data and demonstrate how well it works! 

We are on a mission to change the way schools respond to the climate and nature crisis and we need your help to make it happen. 

We need to keep growing because the climate crisis is happening now and young people are going to be affected for the rest of their lives. Their education must show them why it is necessary to take action to live sustainably, how it is possible to achieve the necessary changes, and that they can take leadership to make change happen. 

We know that to keep on growing we will need to build the case for high quality climate and nature education. We need to show school leaders, councils and multi academy trusts how programmes like Zero Carbon Schools are good for pupils, teachers and the school. And we’ll keep working with other environmental education organisations, because we believe that we can do more when we work together.
