GREEN SCHOOLS GOLD

Each week our team will be digging up nuggets of environmental news for you to discuss with your class. They have been designed as five minute starter activities or topics to cover in tutor time.

The news stories, videos and talking points we collect for Green Schools Gold will tie into one of three themes. These themes will bring environmental news into the classroom, inspiring young people to take action for our planet.

  • Connect with the natural world. Snippets that bring nature into the classroom and help young people engage with the world around them.
  • Leading positive change. Stories about pioneers around the world taking climate action through their campaigns, community projects and activism.
  • The future is green. Examples of innovation and adaptation in the face of the climate crisis for greener transport, energy and lifestyles.
