Green Jobs Workshop
An understanding of ‘green jobs’ is an important part of preparing students for a future which will be shaped by our response to the climate crisis.
Designed to show how almost any career can be “green” if done in a way that helps to reduce carbon emissions or protect the natural world, this interactive session helps pupils explore sustainability in the workplace. Through practical exercises and discussions, they’ll learn to apply climate change knowledge to real-world workplace scenarios, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills.
The workshop is delivered by one of the Green Schools Project team. A half day of 1 or 2 workshops costs £350 and a full day of up to 4 workshops costs £450. (Independent schools costs: half day – £495, full day – £650)
This workshop is a valuable addition to any primary or secondary school’s careers and sustainability education. To learn more and book your session, contact henry@greenschoolsproject.org.uk
“The children particularly enjoyed the Green Jobs workshop. They investigated how everyday jobs can be made greener and it cleared up some common misconceptions about what is a ‘green’ job.”
